Bio

Ms. Rashmi Raja is an educator, researcher, and communication professional with a multidisciplinary background in mass media, communication, public relations, human resources, and management education. With 5 years of combined academic and industry experience, she brings a balanced perspective that integrates academic knowledge with practical insights into the classroom.

 

Currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Communication and Journalism from the University of Mumbai, Ms. Raja holds a Master’s degree in Public Relations and a Bachelor’s (Honours) degree in Applied Psychology. Her research interests include gender roles, family communication, media representation, social change, and strategic communication, reflecting her commitment to understanding the evolving dynamics of society and media.

 

Beyond teaching, Ms. Raja has made significant contributions to academic administration and institutional development, with experience in student mentoring, academic coordination, examinations, placements, and student engagement initiatives. She is passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages critical thinking, professional development, and lifelong learning.
