Dr. Sumit Mishra

Bio

Dr. Sumit Mishra brings nearly 25 years of extensive industry experience across a diverse range of sectors, including sales operations, banking, finance, US mortgage, airline management, and general management. He has held senior roles at renowned organisations such as Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Accenture. Most recently, he served as Vice President and Global Head of Business Excellence at 3i Infotech Limited, where he led digital transformation initiatives and achieved significant cost optimizations.

Dr. Sumit holds a PhD in Business Administration, with his doctoral research focused on “Dimensions of Automation Deployment in the Business Process Management Industry in India,” a cutting-edge study from an Industry 4.0 perspective. Additionally, he is UGC-NET qualified and has earned an Executive MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

He is also a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from the Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore, and the Hewlett Packard Quality Organization. His other academic credentials include an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in commerce (Honors).
