Mr. Ahitagni Dasgupta

Bio

Ahitagni Dasgupta is a seasoned audio engineer and educator with over 20 years of experience in recording, mixing, mastering, and post-production. He began his career in 1998 at Audiofile Studio, Bandra, and later worked with leading studios such as Western Outdoor Studio ‘A’ and Postation, Pali Hill. Since 2003, he has been a freelance mastering and post-production engineer, collaborating with major labels and production houses including EMI Music India, Warner Music, Universal Music Group, and Strumm Entertainment. Actively involved in academia since 2014, he has held senior academic roles and is currently an in-house faculty at the School of Music, Sound and Cinematics, with core expertise in teaching, curriculum development, studio acoustics, and professional audio practice.
