Bio

Prof Ajay Singh is a Science Graduate and a Post Graduate in Management studies specialising in Marketing and Finance from Nagpur University. Currently he is pursuing his Ph.D. from Sri Balaji University.

Prof Singh’s professional journey is marked with exposures of some of the leading brands like Finolex cables limited, Incab industries Ltd (a unit of Tata Steel), Lloyds Steel Industries, John Deere equipment limited and Noble Explochem limited. Prior to joining UBS, Prof Singh was VP/Head – Supply Chain Management, at Aqua Pharm Chemicals Pvt. Limited, Pune.

Professor Singh’s forte lies in Supply Chain Management, with 26 plus years of total professional experience of which 13 years in MNC in a Leadership role with skills in identifying SCM Strategic and operational requirements, creating implementation strategies and effectively coordinating with cross- functional teams to achieve objectives through Thought Leadership and Change Management.

Incidentally, Prof Singh has global supply chain management exposure and has travelled extensively across the globe architecting and curving out various initiatives in SCM. Besides, Prof Singh has been a visiting Professor in Supply Chain Management with Ajeenkya DY Patil University, Pune.
