Prof. (Dr.) Ervin Frenzel is a globally recognized cybersecurity expert and academician with deep expertise at the intersection of technology and human behavior. He holds a Ph.D. in Cybersecurity from Capitol Technology University, USA, and currently serves as a Professor of Computer Science at the University of North Texas College of Engineering.

 

Dr. Frenzel’s research focuses on the emerging field of cyberpsychology—examining how digital environments influence human thought, behavior, and emotion. His work bridges the gap between cybersecurity and psychology, offering insights into how individuals and societies interact with technology in an increasingly connected world.

 

Honored with the prestigious Academia Instructor of the Year award in 2024, Dr. Frenzel is celebrated for his engaging teaching style and innovative curriculum design. At Universal Ai University, he will be leading the Cyberpsychology module within the course “Global Perspectives in Psychology”. His sessions will explore the psychological impact of cybersecurity, online identity, digital ethics, and the cognitive consequences of living in a hyperconnected era.
