Prof. Elora Basumatary

Bio

Elora Basumatary currently holds the position of Director, MBA programme, from Cardiff Metropolitan University at Universal Business School. After completing her B.E from National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, and MBA from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, she worked across industries (Oil & Gas, Media, IT and Insurance/Re-insurance) and held positions of management leaderships, most of them in the MENA region.

She teaches in the space of Strategic Marketing, Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Insurance among many other subjects. Her research interests include customer experience and student engagement using experiential learning techniques. She is the patron for the student run club UBS Innovation Club (UIC) and head of Rush4Rush,  the annual Inter-college fest of UBS.
