I feel privileged to be a part of Universal Ai University where the past month has been truly enlightening.
The first week began with an induction program designed to foster teamwork and rapid decision-making. We were grouped and tasked with creating tribe names, logos, and war cries, which helped us understand collaboration under time constraints.
The second activity focused on product launch strategies, employing the principles of the 4 Ps of marketing to develop compelling presentations. Following this, we explored potential institutional changes for UAiU and engaged in crafting sustainable housing solutions using campus waste in the ‘Best out of Waste’ challenge.
Week 2 featured insightful guest lectures from various MNCs, offering invaluable insights into the corporate world and the requisite skill sets for different job roles. The highlight was the outbound activity, a transformative experience where we disconnected from our mobile phones for 24 hours. This unique challenge included adventure sports, mental health workshops, and deep team bonding exercises, culminating in a memorable trek.
Week 3 marked the beginning of our academic classes, and I must say, our professors are incredible. They bring immense knowledge and corporate experience, enriching our learning with practical, experiential insights. The seniors are amazing, ensuring a seamless journey for us juniors. The club and community presentations were impressive, showcasing their remarkable achievements in just one year. Mentor and mentee Tuesdays are the highlight—I eagerly await each session. I’m grateful to our professors, seniors, and staff for making my first month easy and exciting. The campus is beautiful; I’m captivated by the view, especially the waterfalls. I’m certain these two years will be transformative for me.
Throughout these weeks, I’ve discovered untapped potential in time management, public speaking, and team coordination. Learning these skills has underscored their importance to me. As I look ahead to these two years, I anticipate a journey of self-discovery. It’s been enlightening to recognize my strengths and identify areas where I can grow.
